We may have someone stopping by who is interested in joining the group. His name is Kris, and he works in wholesale toy distribution. He says he has literally hundreds of millions of possible referrals.
Unfortunately, he is located very far from the Walnut area (even farther than Phyllis), but he says he's used to long commutes. Maybe we can entice him with extra waffles with his Griddle Breakfast.

Thanksgiving Leftovers Running Out
Despite the accumulation of vast supplies of turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy during the Thanksgiving holiday, leftovers for most people seem to be running low. Many people are out altogether, and forced to rely on fresh, non-holiday sustenance. Only cranberry sauce continues to be available.
Experts warn of a 'holiday food crisis' and warn that unless we have another holiday - and soon - almost everyone will be forced to cook, instead of simply reheating.

Free Breakfast Policy Declared "Crazy" by Some Members
Strategic Alliance president Dr. Wofgang Shane unveiled a new policy to provide free food to any guest invited by a member of the Alliance. The non-members, visiting the weekly meetings of the group, will get a choice of one of three breakfast choices - absolutely free of charge. Some members of the group believe the president's new policy is ill-advised. One member, speaking off the record, said "Handing out free breakfasts to anyone who wants to join our group? That's crazy. I think Dr. Shane is losing his mind."
This radical offer is available on any given Thursday, 7 AM, at Millies restaurant in Walnut, corner of Valley Blvd. and Grand Ave.

Why Are We the Coolest Business Referral Group?
Strategic Alliance is the most successful, active, business-generating and fun networking group in Walnut-West covina-Diamond Bar tri-city region!.
Our members join and stay in the group because:
MEETINGS
Through breakfast meetings every Thursday with amiable business professionals in a variety of business categories, we build our businesses through active, tracked referrals and hear speakers that provide us with information that helps us keep ahead of competitors in our market and learn about new developments in other professions.
RELATIONSHIPS
Through Strategic Alliance, we establish business relationships that, like a vast web, lead to other business relationships and increased commerce inside and outside our group.
FUN
We have a very high “fun factor”, in addition to our very successful business efforts. We have special networking events that enable us to strengthen our alliances.
EXCLUSIVE
BRG is a networking group that has only one person per profession, so members complement one another rather than competing within their field.
SHARE YOUR EXPERTISE All BRG members have the opportunity to speak to the group at least once a year to share their business goals and expertise with BRG colleagues.
JOIN US
We heartily welcome new members in business categories not already covered in our membership. To attend your first meeting as our guest, please call Dr. Wolfgang Shane of at 909-598-2111 or email Corey Zak at zak_corey@yahoo.com.

New Life For Life Insurance
Now could be the time to invest in your own healthIF IT’S GOOD ENOUGH FOR BANKERS . . .
According to government disclosures, Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke has a majority of his liquid wealth—between $1 million and $2 million—invested in fixed and variable annuities. Fixed annuities are contracts issued exclusively by life insurance companies that promise guaranteed rates of interest.
What’s more, the 401(k) Thrift Plan for Employees of the Federal Reserve System, according to a 2009 first-quarter Fed report covering 22,000 Fed employees, has 75 percent of its assets—that’s $3.2 billion—invested in its fixed-income fund, which is invested exclusively in annuity contracts underwritten by major U.S. life insurance companies guaranteeing principal and an interest rate of 5.8 percent.
